Some interpolating families of means of two positive numberswith a parameter are studied. They are concerned with some ofthe most familiar means, i.e., the arithmetic, geometric, harmonic,logarithmic means and so on. Their monotonicity with respect to theparameter and the order relations among them are discussed.
