「自分らしい生活を続けること」は多くのひとの願いです。私が専門とするリハビリテーションは、医療や介護の最終手段とみられることがよくありますが、地域と職域で求められる予防医学になると思っています。

腰やひざの痛み、転倒などの日常的な健康問題について、生活の中で無理なく取り入れられるセルフマネジメントに関する疫学研究を進めています。また、予防活動の魅力を、自ら体験し理解して伝えられるよう、自治体や事業所と共同で取り組む実装活動に励んでいます。

"Maintaining one's desired lifestyle" is a widespread aspiration. While rehabilitation is often perceived as a last resort in healthcare in Japan, I believe it holds significant potential as a form of preventive medicine, crucial for both community and occupational health. My epidemiological research focuses on practical self-management strategies for common daily health issues, such as lower back and knee pain or falls. Simultaneously, I am actively engaged in implementation science, collaborating with local governments and businesses to develop and disseminate appealing preventive interventions.
