In this paper, we propose a beyond 3G and new generation mobile communication system that can realize beyond100 Mbps carrier bit rate and can access IP network easily. The new system is based on the packet-reservation-based protocol: packet reservation dynamic time-slotted multiple access (PR-DSMA). We have already developed an evaluation prototype and investigated its transmission throughput and perform a feasibility study. The carrier bit rate of the prototype was 155.52 Mbps and the maximum data throughput on TCP/IP layer was almost 80 Mbps. We moreover have developed a new broader prototype by arranging several prototyping boards included PR-DSMA protocol in parallel and the carrier bit rate of the prototype is 622 Mbps. In this paper, we introduce the proposed protocol and the configuration of newly developed prototype.
