Profile

My research area is in the field of the next generation energy. As for energy production technology, fusion energy is the main topic. I have investigated conceptual design of fusion power plant, fusion plasma design, plasma transport. Now, I focus on developing the conceptual design of Japan's fusion demonstration plant. As for energy utilization technology, I have studied the next generation vehicles(EV, PHV, FCV), and especially my major topics are development of fueling infrastructure, development of traffic simulator for next generation vehicles, vehicle to grid/home technology, and introduction scenario for the next generation vehicles. As for energy evaluation technology, I have developed an evaluation method for utility function of each characteristics of energy system. I have applied this method to compare economic performance with safety sense, which cannot be physically compared, and to understand the difference between public and energy specialists, and to discuss the energy mix.
