Hideki KAKINUMA

Hideki KAKINUMA is a Professor of Human Resource Management at the Faculty of Commerce, University of Marketing and Distribution Sciences, Japan. He earned PhD in Economics from Kyoto University, MA in Social Informatics from Aoyama Gakuin University, and BCom in Commerce from Meiji University.

His research field lies mainly on human resource management. He is now focusing on talent management, human resource development (HRD), and international HRM. Additionally, he raises interest to HRM/HRD in service organizations.

He has working experiences in both industrial and academic worlds. In the industrial world, he worked in an HR-related services firm for 2 years. In the academic world, he worked as a Part-time Lecturer at Kyoto University and Hiroshima University, and as a Visiting Scholar at Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
