In order to study the mesoscopic effects of SDW systems, we have tried fabrication of organic hetero junctions. We used a (TMTSF)(2)PF6 or (TMTSF)(2)ClO4 single crystal itself as an electrode in the conventional electrochemical crystal growth, and overgrew (TMTSF)(2)ClO4 or (TMTSF)(2)PF6 on it. We successfully obtained (TMTSF)(2)PF6/(TMTSF)(2)ClO4 single crystal junctions, which is an elementary structure to fabricate mesoscopic SDW systems. We confirmed that the overgrown part of this metal/SDW junction shows the normal bulk properties. This fact suggests that epitaxial growth was successfully realized. We also present a model for the SDW transition in very thin Q1D conductors with finite number of I D chains as a mesoscopic SDW system.
