Abu Bin Ihsan obtained his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) degree from Pharmacy Discipline, Life Science School, Khulna University, Khulna, Bangladesh and achieved his Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) degree (June, 2010) from Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Life Science, University of Development Alternative (UODA), Dhaka, Bangladesh. Then he moved to Japan (October, 2010) as an International Graduate Program for Research Pioneers in Life Sciences (IGP) scholar of Hokkaido University under Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT) and successfully received his Doctoral degree in Life Science (March, 2014) with a dissertation entitled as “A novel polyampholyte hydrogel based on dynamic and reversible sacrificial bonds: toughness and self-healing” from the Laboratory of Soft and Wet Matter, Transdisciplinary Life Science Course, Division of Life Science, Graduate School of Life Science, Hokkaido University, Japan under the supervision of Professor Dr. Jian Ping Gong. Dr. Abu Bin Ihsan has been continuing his research on polymer hydrogels in particular on “Polyampholyte Hydrogel” at Laboratory of Soft & Wet Matter, Department of Advanced Transdisciplinary Sciences, Faculty of Advanced Life Science, Hokkaido University as a postdoctoral research fellow.
