概要:
We consider a BEC on a 1D ring with repulsive interactions where a Dirac delta is rotating at constant speed. The spectrum of energies and eigenfunctions, stationary in the delta comoving frame, is presented in terms of the the nonlinearity, delta velocity and strength (positive and negative), and organized into a set of swallowtail structures. A metastability (Bogoliubov) analysis is performed for the first few excited energy levels, establishing the possible adiabatic transitions between the stationary and stable solutions. We propose a set of adiabatic cycles in which either dark or gray solitons, or vortices of arbitrary angular momenta, are produced by setting and unsetting a rotating delta. Simulations of the time-dependent GP where a Gaussian is rotated, instead of a Dirac delta, qualitatively reproduce these cycles.
