According to the planetary boundary concept, nitrogen and phosphate cycling and biodiversity loss are already beyond the tipping point. What will happen to the global environment and to our lives in the future when excessive nutrient emissions from agriculture and biodiversity loss due to economic development are combined with climate change? Our research focuses on climate change, the impact of human activities on the environment and biodiversity, as well as on farmers' vulnerability studies.
