ジャミル アハメッド

Jamil Ahmed obtained his bachelor's degree in chemistry and Master’s degree in physical chemisry from the department of chemistry, Dhaka University, Bangladesh with a fellowship of "National Science, Information and Communication Technology" in Bangladesh . Then he moved to Japan in October 2011 as a scholar of Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT) and received his Doctoral degree in September 2014 with a dissertation entitled as “Study on the frictional properties of zwitterionic hydrogels” from Graduate School of Life Science, Hokkaido University, Japan under the supervision of Professor Jian Ping Gong in Laboratory of Soft and Wet mater (LSW). Dr. Jamil Ahemd has been continuing his research in LSW as a postdoctoral research fellow since October 2014 under "Grants-In-Aid for scientific research (Kakenhi), Japan". His research interest is on the study of surface properties, interfacial contact and sliding friction of soft and wet matters.
