1994年長崎大学医学卒業。長崎大学形成外科及び関連病院にて形成外科一般手技及び顕微鏡下微小血管吻合術を学ぶ。2011年より光嶋教授指導するリンパ管静脈吻合を学び、年100件以上のリンパ管静脈吻合を実施する傍ら、リンパ管の再生研究にも携わる。学位収得課題は脂肪幹細胞を用いたリンパ管再生。2015年ハーバード大学、オハイオ州立大学留学。2016年4月東京大学形成外科。2017年4月より現職。現在の研究は集合リンパ管の再生臨床応用、リンパ外科による抗がん免疫外科治療の確立である．
