After graduating four-year college of pharmacy (the former system of Japanese pharmaceutical education before 2006), I practiced medicine as a hospital pharmacist in rural area, Kagoshima, Japan. I had been able to felt the importance of research mind in the works in relation to medical treatment of pharmacists. Therefore, I entered the master's course of graduate school of pharmaceutical sciences in Fukuoka University, graduate school of pharmaceutical sciences to study basic science (analytical chemistry), and continued to doctor's course of medical science in Kagoshima University. Then I had started to work as hospital pharmacist again in Kagoshima University Hospital until current job. I have had 16 years clinical experience in Japan, including doctor course period in Kagoshima University. I am interested in the university education of clinical pharmacy in the United States.
