High-spin yrast states in Sc-43 were investigated by using in-beam gamma-ray technique with the Al-27(F-19,p2n) reaction at 50 MeV. The positive-parity rotational band built on the 152-keV J(pi) = 3/2(+) state has been extended up to the terminating J pi = (27/2(+)) state. Several fast transitions feeding to the oblate-deformed J(pi) = 19/2(-) isomer have been also identified. Character of observed levels and transition rates were discussed in comparison with the shell-model calculations.
