● Jun Nishida is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Human-Computer Interaction area. His research interests include human augmentation by wearable technologies, cybernics, artificial intelligence and embodied cognitive science.
● He is currently working on the study of 1) wearable devices that share kinesthetic experience among people based on biosignal measurement and stimulation, 2) wearable suit that can transform the wearer's embodiment into that of a child by using viewpoint translator and passive hand exoskeletons, 3) assistive toys for augmenting social interactions among hearing-impaired children, and 4) assistive exoskeletons for enhancing neurosurgical operations.

● He received his bachelor's degree in Engineering and doctoral degree in Human Informatics from University of Tsukuba, Japan in 2014 and 2019 respectively. Currently he is a postdoctoral fellow at University of Chicago, United States, and also a research fellow of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.
● He has received more than 40 awards including Best Paper Award at ACM UIST, Best Paper Honorable Mention Award at ACM CHI, Honorable Mention for Best Demo at IEEE VR, Best Award at Microsoft Innovation Award, and three University President's Awards.
