瀬藤 和也

Kazuya SETOH is currently an adjunct assistant professor at the Shizuoka Graduate University of Public Health. His research interest is inflammaging based on epidemiological method. Especially, he currently researches on food derived immune reactions resulting in age-related diseases. Before joining the current university, he studied on immune regulation through T cells as a master cource student, and subsequently managed the Nagahama Prospective Genome Cohort for Comprehensive Human Bioscience (the Nagahama Study) as a doctoral course student and as a postdoctoral researcher at the Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University. At Shizuoka from 2021, he has been involved in the project of a novel large cohort study in Shizuoka prefecture (the Shizuoka Study).
