手術ロボットは,感染を防ぐために十分に洗浄される必要があるが,複雑な構造を有するため,最適な洗浄が難しい.そこで,機構の形状ごとの洗浄容易さの指標や評価法が必要である.本研究では,手術ロボット可動部の隙間を模し,様々な間隔・幅・深さを持った試験片を設計した.その後,試験片を汚染後,様々な条件で洗浄し,洗浄後の試験片から,残留汚れを抽出し,定量することで,試験片の持つ洗浄容易さの評価した.

手術室内で各種センサによる情報収集と,手術中の作業内容分析を行う手術戦略デスクでの解析技術を紹介する.本システムにより,手術中の執刀医を情報の洪水から守るとともに,周囲のスタッフ,スーパバイザー的立場の医師には十分な情報が届き,術者が必要なタイミングで必要なサポートを受けられることを目指す.手術戦略デスクにおけるセンサデータマイニング研究事例として,手術映像からの重要点検出・スタッフ動線からの手術工程抽出について紹介する.

手術ロボットをその自律性の段階に応じて,(1)マスタースレーブ型手術ロボット,(2)NC装置型手術ロボット,(3)標的教示・自動追尾型手術ロボット,(4)標的自動認識・自動追尾型,の4段階に分類し,それぞれの段階における外科医と手術ロボットの役割分担に関する課題と最近の研究開発の動きを紹介した.また手術ロボットの進化と実用化を迅速円滑に進めるために研究開発者が考慮すべき点,それを踏まえた幾つかの研究例を紹介した.
