佐藤 光哉

Koya Sato was born in Miyagi, Japan, in 1991. He received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from Yamagata University, Yamagata, Japan, in 2013, and the M.E. and Ph.D. degrees from The University of Electro-Communications, Chofu, Japan, in 2015 and 2018, respectively. From 2018 to 2021, he was an Assistant Professor with the Tokyo University of Science, Shinjuku, Japan. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Artificial Intelligence exploration Research Center, The University of Electro-Communications. His current research interests include wireless communication, distributed machine learning, and spatio-temporal statistics. He has been an Associate Editor of IEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society since 2026.
