  1. My research focuses on contemporary and modern Christian theological thought. I explore the process of reconstructing the theological system and the contemporary value of Christian faith, particularly since the Enlightenment. My primary theological interlocutor is Adolf von Harnack.
  2. I conduct comprehensive studies on Christian pneumatology since the 20th century. This includes an examination of pneumatology not only in classical Protestantism but also in Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, Evangelicalism, Pentecostalism, and Fundamentalism.
  3. I am engaged in the study of interreligious dialogue, especially contemporary dialogues between Christianity and Judaism and Islam. Additionally, my research encompasses the religious context of Japan, including Buddhism, Shintoism, and general religious perspectives.
