I have made full use of information technology as an instructional approach to help students ensure the acquisition of basic scholastic ability, create their interest, and have genuine understanding in the field of physical chemistry. To accomplish the goal, the following e-learning systems and applications were developed:a web-based non-selection-type e-learning system,an e-learning system where students can play some kind of game on an ipod Touch as well as on PC,visually interactive teaching materials for learning the Boyle's and Charles's law and the Bragg formulation of X-ray diffraction, and a web-based questionnaire system. Those developed systems and applications have been in use in my physical chemistry classes since 2003.In order to help students grasp molecular image, two pieces of software using molecular orbital method and molecular simulation were introduced into the physical chemistry classes in 2009.
