My research focuses on the brain mechanisms of homeostatic physiological functions, such as body temperature regulation, fever, stress responses, etc. These functions are essential for maintaining our life. By combining state-of-the-art techniques of molecular biology with in vivo physiological and neuroanatomical experimental systems, I am pursuing the brain circuitries working for various physiological functions.
