平成28年2月下旬に日本耳鼻咽喉科学会に登録している人工内耳実施施設109施設を対象に日本耳科学会 人工聴覚器ワーキングループによるアンケート調査を実施した結果を報告する。85%の施設で平均聴力90dB未満の患者が人工内耳手術を希望されていた。48%の施設で一側の平均聴力90dB未満の患者に人工内耳手術を行っていた。82%の施設が1998年の適応基準の改訂が必要と考えていた。人工内耳手術を行った最も軽い術側の平均聴力レベルは91dB以上が20.7%、81〜90dBが51.7%、71〜80d...

2004年〜2013年の間に手術した甲状腺腫瘍中、50%以上が縦隔内に存在するものを縦隔甲状腺腫と定義し、今回、その35例(男性7例、女性28例、年齢34〜82歳、平均61.5±11.1歳、中央値65歳)について検討した。その結果、1)腫瘍は単発性が17例、多発性が16例であり、単発性腫瘍の最大径は27〜74mm(平均56.2±12.9mm)であった。また、主腫瘍の病理組織型は腺腫様甲状腺腫が25例、濾胞腺腫が6例、慢性甲状腺炎が2例ほか、乳腺癌および未分化癌が各1例で、副病変として腺腫様...
