岡村 健史郎

Kenshiro Okamura received his BTech and MTech in Electric Engineering from Institute of Technology, Yamaguchi University in 1981 and 1983, respectively. He is presently working as a Professor in Information Science and Technology Department, National Institute of Technology, Oshima College. Prior to Oshima College, he worked for Mitsubishi Electric Corporation and Ube College for four years, respectively. His research interest includes pattern recognition and image processing. He has been engaged in development and implementation of automatic surveillance technologies to prevent poaching in coastal areas. Now, he has received Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research to promote constructing anti-poaching system.
