自治体で保健師としての経験を経た後、現在は教育機関で保健師教育に携わっています。

• 教育では、学部内で保健師の基礎的技術や考え方をしっかりと学べるように、時間をかけて丁寧に指導をすることを心がけています。特に地域看護診断を学部でしっかり学ぶことが重要と考えています。

• フィリピン現地（Muntinlupa City）にて、母子保健に関する健康課題に関する調査を行ってきました（2011-2020）。産後ケアや自宅出産の課題、鉄欠乏性貧血の現状やその社会経済要因について現地ヘルスセンターや病院と協働して調査を行いました。フィールド調査を行ったことで、フィリピン内の健康格差や現地医療職、保健ボランティアの重要性を実感する機会となりました。現地の多くの方にサポートいただき調査をすることができました。感謝してもしきれない程ありがたく思っています。

• 近年、私達の研究グループは国内の在住ベトナム人の調査を行っています（2020年ー現在）。主に、ベトナム人の社会経済状況、疾病の有無、抑うつ・不安、受診行動の変化などに焦点をあてています。横断調査や前向きコホート件研究の成果をいくつか発表し、在日ベトナム人の抑うつや不安の現状や要因、技能実習生のメンタルヘルスに関する現状の一部を明らかにしてきました。しかし、外国出身者のメンタルヘルスについてはまだまだ明らかにされていないことが多く、課題は山積みであることを感じています。また、本成果が現場の声となり、発信されていくことを望んでいます。さらに、保健所・保健センターで働く保健師、病棟で在留外国人に携わる看護職、NPO等で活動される職員の方々との交流を通して、実践に役に立つ方策を共に考えていきたいです。周りの方のお知恵をおかりしながら進めていきたいと考えています。

After working as a public health nurse in a local government, I am currently involved in public health nurse education at an educational institution.
We have conducted a study on health issues related to maternal and child health locally in the Philippines . We collaborated with local health centers and hospitals to investigate issues related to postpartum care, home births, and the current status of iron deficiency anemia and its socioeconomic factors. The field research provided us with an opportunity to realize the health disparities within the Philippines and the importance of local medical professionals and health volunteers. We were able to conduct the survey with the support of many local people. 

In recent years, our research group has been conducting a survey of Vietnamese living in the country. Our main focus is on the socioeconomic status of the Vietnamese population, the presence of disease, depression/anxiety, and changes in medical examination behavior. We have published the results of several cross-sectional and prospective cohort studies, and have clarified the current situation and factors of depression and anxiety among Vietnamese living in Japan, as well as part of the current situation regarding the mental health of technical intern trainees. However, we feel that there is still much that has not been clarified regarding the mental health of people of foreign origin, and that there are many issues that need to be addressed. We also hope that the results of this study will become the voice of the field and be disseminated. In addition, we would like to think together about measures that will be useful in practice through exchanges with public health nurses working at public health centers, nurses working with foreign residents in hospital wards, and staff members of NPOs, etc. 

In conjunction with the above epidemiological study, we are conducting an intervention study using an online (mobile application) for foreign residents.
