Dr. Koji Nishiguchi has been studying Eulerian finite-element/finite-volume methods suitable for massively parallel computing of fluid and structure problems. His current research projects are the followings:
(1) Crash simulation of multi-material vehicle structures
(2) Fluid-structure interaction simulation of blood flow-induced endothelial cell deformations in vivo
(3) Fluid-structure interaction simulation of buildings under high-wind conditions
