平成25年度以前の旧課程高校物理(物理I・II)の大学1年生に実施されていた「力学基礎・同演習」(週2コマ開講の3単位科目)について,高校で物理IIを履修していない「未履修クラス」の学生の状況を把握し学生の理解度の変化を測定しながら講義を進めた。調査結果は,教師が直感的に予想する状況に一致し,理解度の変化は,学生がどの箇所に困難を持つのかなど,受講学生の理解の状況を踏まえた講義設計の検討を可能にした。また,「既履修クラス」での調査結果と比較することで,学生の状況がより鮮明に把握された。
