I had been working on sugar beet breeding for 20 years. My main task was a development Marker Assisted Selection system against complex breeding traits. We succeeded in some advanced resistant variety on the joint breeding collaboration with major breeding companies.
Now, I am working on MAFF as a program officer for field crop R&D. Now, I am responsible for wheat, barley, beans, potatoes, sugarcane, etc., and of course sugar beet. If you have any questions for field crops R&D, don't hesitate to get in touch with me.
