My interest lies in the history of philosophy and science, especially those of the early modern period (roughly from the late 15th to the 17th century). My publication includes articles on Pierre Gassendi, Francis Bacon, and Justus Lipsius. My first monograph is to be published in June 2016, as Julius Caesar Scaliger, Renaissance Reformer of Aristotelianism: A Study of His Exotericae Exercitationes (Leiden: Brill).
