Bio
Kyohei Okubo is Associate Professor of Medical and Dental Sciences (Oral Devices and Materials) at Science Tokyo and member of the Oral Science Center, Institute of Biomedical Engineering. He has courtesy appointment at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering for Graduate Major in Science and Technology for Healthcare and Medicine (STM). He received B.Eng. and Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from the University of Tsukuba in 2012 and 2017, respectively. His research focuses on (i) creating sensor devices and instruments for oral health applications and (ii) developing biomaterial-related technologies spanning from diagnostics to dental materials.
