アメリカの高齢者65歳以上の公的医療保険であるメデイケアが誕生してから40年近くの歳月が経ち、約95%の高齢者65歳以上が加入している。アクセスは確保されたものの、今でも高齢者の健康状態にジェンダー、エスニシテイー、人種別に格差が生じている。本論文は、「アンダーソン・ニューマンモデル」の医療行動モデルを独自に改良して、人種、民族、そして性別に高齢者の医療サービスの利用について全国メデイケアデータを解析した論文。
