Manabu Hirano

He was born in Hokkaido, Japan in 1976. He received his B.E. in information engineering from Toyohashi University of Technology, Toyohashi, Japan, in 2000. He received his M.E. and D.E. degree in infomation engineering from Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Nara, Japan in 2002 and 2008.

He worked for TOSHIBA's Internet-related business venture department since 2002. Since 2004, He worked for National Institute of Technology, Toyota College, as an Assistant Professor with the Information and Computer Engineering Department since 2004. From 2009 to 2011, he was a Senior Lecturer. From 2011 to 2022, he was an Assosiate Professor. He studied at University of Kent, Canterbury, UK as a Visiting Senior Lecturer with School of Computing between June 2012 and January 2013. He has been a Professor at National Institute of Technology, Toyota College, with the Information and Computer Engineering Department since 2023 . He completed the instructor training programs of Cisco Networking Academy (CCNA Routing and Switching, CCNA CyberOps).
