Neutrons are sensitive to not only ferromagnetic but also antiferromagnetic structures. Therefore they have a potential power to increase speed of development in magnetic materials and devices. Because of limited intensity of present neutron sources in Japan, neutrons are underutilized for the purpose. JPARC will contribute to such development with highintensity neutron source.
