　小ソクラテス派（Minor Socratics; キュニコス派、キュレネ派、メガラ派、エリス-エレトリア派）を中心とする古代ギリシアの倫理思想史を専門的に研究しています。

　「哲学的に見ていかなる思想が正しいのか」という問いではなく、「仮に正しくないとしても／正しくないからこそ、なぜそのような思想を抱くに至るのか」という問い（哲学の背景・動機・心理をめぐる問い）に関心があります。

  I specialize in the history of ancient Greek ethics, focusing on the Minor Socratics (Cynic, Cyrenaic, Megaric and Elian-Eretrian Schools).

  My interest is not in 'what ideas are philosophically correct' but in 'even if/because they are not, why does one hold such ideas' (questions concerning the background, motives and psychology of philosophy).
