This study aimed to clarify empirically effective factors of the workplace for achieving employee motivation and growth, and at the same time, customer satisfaction, service quality, and financial outcomes in home care service. We conducted an employee awareness survey with 761 full-time workers at 76 care service offices of Corporation A. A covariance structure analysis was conducted. The results indicated that "positive and interactive climate in workplace," "managerial activities based on the PDCA cycle," "efficient work in indirect operations," and "promotion of positive balance of work and life" had positive impacts on employee motivation and growth, and subsequently on customer satisfaction, service quality, and financial outcomes. We discussed the importance of task-related management such as "managerial activities based on the PDCA cycle" and "efficient work in indirect operations," which were not pointed out specifically so far.
