Masashi Sugimoto

I am presently an Assistant Professor, Communication Systems Engineering Lab., Division of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Computer Science, Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Ehime University. And also working Innovation Center for Sensing and Analysis of Infrastructure (i-SAIN) affiliated with the Faculty of Engineering of Ehime University, concurrently as an additional official position.
My research interest includes Robotics (including Agricultural Robot, Multi-Leg Robot, Social Robot, Network Robotics, Knowledge Sharing method of Swarm Robotics using LPWAN, and Underwater Robot), Control Engineering (including Model-Based Development for Embedded systems, Learning-Control system, and Educational system), Machine Learning (Support Vector Machine / Regression, Convolutional Neural Network, Reinforcement Learning, and Multi-Agent system), Communication systems and Infrastructure (Power-Line Communication and Low Power, Wide Area Wireless system such as LPWAN) and Information system, and elderly people watching and caring system using Electronics and Machine Learning methods.
