Masayoshi has always been very interested in the universe. He pursued physics as an undergraduate student, and started researching astrophysics in graduate school. Looking up at the night sky, one can observe winking stars in the jet-black universe. Several types of light, not only visible light but also radio waves, X-rays, and so on, come down from the universe. In particular, the high-energy light of Xand gamma-rays clearly shows the turbulent phenomena such as black-holes, and the birth and death of stars, that occur frequently in the universe. He will open up new aspects of the Universe using X-ray scientific satellites.

【研究テーマ】

  • 銀河系拡散X線放射の観測研究“Observational study of the Galactic diffuse X-ray emission”(個人研究:2011 .4.1-)

天の川銀河系にはX線星に分解できない広がったX線放射が存在しています。X線天文衛星を用いた観測を行い、その起源を研究しています。

  • 銀河系内高エネルギー現象の観測研究(個人研究:2011 .4.1-)
