Let’s enjoy holography, under the sun!

 

2月2日、物質・デバイス領域共同研究拠点様(NJRC)より、自然光フルカラー動画ホログラフィに関する研究内容を御紹介いただきました。本拠点様制度を用いた共同研究活動を東北大学様、大阪大学様と長年行なってきて、この様に共同研究内容を高く評価して取り上げて下さり厚く御礼申し上げます。本研究内容は、千葉大学下馬場先生、東北大学小澤先生、大阪大学中村先生の各研究グループとの共同研究によるものです。

A peer-reviewed research article of incoherent digital holograhy with Newton ring was published in Optics and Laser Technology. Incoherent 3D imaging was experimentally demonstrated with more than 60 fps and depth range of 500 mm.

自然光フルカラー動画ホログラフィ法の原著論文が掲載されました。数年掛けて大学研究者の方々と自然光ホログラフィシステムを作り上げた結果を無事発表できました。関係者の方々に御礼申し上げます。

Our natural-light full-color motion-picture holography technique was published in SPIE/CLP Advanced Photonics Nexus. Fully-passive single-shot full-color holography was demonstrated for an outdoor 3D scene illuminated by sunlight. We thank many persons who encourage us, many foundations, SPIE, CLP, and Advanced Photonics Nexus, very much.

A peer-reviewed review article on the topics of imaging and sensing with holography was published in Journal of Optics (IOP Publishing). Imaging and sensing techniques with holography are reviewed, focusing on quantitative phase imaging with daily-use light, spatially incoherent digital holography, holographic display, and microscopy with holographic light modulation.

A research article of a portable incoherent digital holograhy system, which was submitted by the invitation from Prof. Joseph Rosen, was published in Photonics. An incoherent hologram was obtained without polarization filters or a half-mirror. The portable system was realized by employing compact LCoS-SLMs.

A research article of a portable single-shot full-color incoherent digital holograhy camera system, which was submitted from the invitation by Prof. Ting-Chung Poon, was published in Advanced Devices & Instrumentation as a peer-reviewed invited paper. Full-color 3D motion-picture imaging was experimentally demonstrated with a white LED.

A research article of self-reference digital holography and its holography unit adaptable to an optical microscope with a light-emitting diode (LED) was published in Optics Express. 3D imaging of an amplitude object and quantitative phase imaging of phase objects in 3D space were experimentally demonstrated with the unit and an LED.

A research article of filter-free lens-free 4D (3D+polarization) multiplexed imaging based on incoherent holography was published in Journal of Optics. An incoherent interferometer was designed and constructed and then the proposed technique was experimentally demonstrated.
