Experienced equity-minded educational professional currently working as a full-time lecturer in the Centre for Foreign Language Education and Research at Rikkyo University. Dedicated to creating inclusive courses and positive, safe learning environments. Their research interests include the inclusion of social justice issues and 'taboo' topics in language courses, LGBTQIA+ policy, and equitable CALL learning environments. Currently pursuing a PhD in Education and Social Justice at Lancaster University. My thesis is on: LGBTQIA+ inclusion, education and support in women's sports organisations in Japan.
