I studied dye-sensitized and quantum dot sensitized solar cells including the design, fabrication and characterization of devices and modules during my master and Ph.D. courses in Pusan National University, Republic of Korea. After that, I researched the photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting for hydrogen production using cuprous oxide and hematite in EPFL and Empa, Switzerland. I am currently working as an assistant professor in I2CNER at Kyushu University, Japan. My research interest is solar energy conversion devices including photovoltaics and solar fuels.
