We conducted the third experiment using vibrating device for deaf-blind persons. This experiment focused on effects of backchannel utterances which were converted to vibration. Case analysis showed some interesting conversational behavior of the deaf-blind person. He nodded his head to his upper arm part where the vibrating device was fixed. And he tried to confirm backchannel response from his conversational partner by reaching to his interpreter. These behavior suggested that the deaf-blind person organized new communication system involving backchannel information.
