Atsushi MIURA

Atsushi Miura is associate professor of the Department of Chemistry in Hokkaido University. He graduated from Hokkaido University (B.S. and M.Env.Sci.) and obtained his Ph. D. (Chemistry) at Kwansei Gakuin University in 2001 under supervision of Prof. Naoto Tamai. He worked as postdoctoral researcher in Katholieke University Leuven (Belgium) for 2001-2004 and Nara Institute of Science and Technology (Japan) for 2004-2008. He moved to National Chiao Tung University (Taiwan) in 2008. He was promoted to assistant professor from August 2009 and had worked in NCTU till April 2014. His current focus is on the clarification of the mechanism of molecular interactions, dynamics, and collective properties of biological and functional organic molecules specially designed to evoke supramolecular nano/micro architecture that induced under optical force field.
