The aim of this study is to establish a technique that can respond to a micro-environment and generate a required output. Environment responsiveness of microorganisms can be applied to develop an autonomous microsystem responding to information in space. In order to establish such a device, we need to achieve environment-responsive actuation of a movable machine. We fabricated movable SU-8 structures in a PDMS microchannel. SU-8 parts were fabricated on a dextran film and covered with a PDMS microchannel. The structures were released by injection of water.
