Universal Optical Modules for Quantum Network

© 2018 IEEE. We describe how a quantum network can be built from a simple device which consists of only a few elements. Such a device can be considered as a module for universal quantum networks and can be realized with a single NV-center in diamond and an optical cavity. We first describe the design and functions of the module, and then using it we explain how we can assemble different type of quantum networks.
