後向きステップや前向きステップなどの代表的なはく離・再付着流れにおいて,流れの再付着点近傍における対流熱伝達の時間・空間変動特性を明らかにすることを目的とした研究を行っている.本報では,高速熱流束センサを用いて熱伝達変動の測定を行い,周波数解析(自己相関,ウェーブレット解析)により特徴的な変動周波数を調査した.また,はく離の形態,レイノルズ数,測定位置によって変動周波数がどのように変化するかを調べた.

最近では電子機器筐体内に部品が密集して搭載されることが多く、その影響でファンの性能(PQ曲線)が変化することがある。本報では、小型軸流ファン及び遠心ファンを用いた実験を行い、それぞれのファンの前方または後方に障害物を近接させた場合のPQ曲線の変化を調べた。その結果、ファンの風量低下と障害物の開口面積(ファンの最小通風面積との比)の間には、ある一定の関係があることが明らかになった。

コンパクトな電子機器を熱設計する際には,空冷ファンをモデル化して計算負荷を軽減することが望まれる.しかし,PQ曲線を用いてファンをモデル化しても,正しい解析結果が得られないことが指摘されてきた.本稿では,小型軸流ファン近傍の流動特性を実測し,またCFD解析を行うことにより,PQ曲線を用いたモデル化の問題点について明らかにした.また,これらの問題点を簡単に改善する方法について検討した.
