Profile

Naoki Shirai was born in Aizuwakamatsu city in 1980. He completed the doctoral program at Tokyo Institute of Technology (electrical and electronic engineering, Graduate School of Science and Engineering) in 2008 and was appointed a JSPS Fellow. He was an assistant professor at Tokyo Metropolitan University since 2009. He has been an associate professor at Hokkaido University since 2016. He holds a D.Eng. degree, and is a member of IEEJ, JSAP and IEEE.
