Profile

I worked as a postdoc in the group of Prof. Dan M. Stamper-Kurn in Department of Physics at University of California, Berkeley since 2015. My work focused on on experimental studies in ultracold atomic physics. I worked as a Program-Specific Researcher in the group of Prof. Shigeki Takeuchi in Kyoto University since 2010. My work focused on experimental studies in quantum optics using quantum entangled photon pairs for its applications to quantum information science, quantum metrology and nonlinear light-matter interactions.

My research interests cover the exploration of the fundamental physics of light and matter for its applications to quantum information science, quantum simulation, quantum metrology, quantum nonlinear optics, nano-photonics and atomic physics.

I earned a Ph.D in 2010 from Kyoto University. In the group of Prof. Yoshiro Takahashi, I worked on simultaneous laser cooling and trapping of two-species (Li-Yb) atomic gases toward the generation of ultracold polar molecules, which can be useful for the quantum simulation and the fundamental physics.
