I am a post-doc in the Femtosecond Spectroscopy Unit, led by Keshav Dani, at OIST. My thesis was on the design and fabrication of multifunctional plasmonic electrodes for improving the light trapping in thin-film photovoltaics, with an emphasis on organic photovoltaics. I obtained my PhD from Rutgers under the supervision of Deirdre O'Carroll. At OIST, I have been learning techniques in ultrafast optics, including pump-probe, transient absorption spectroscopy, THz time-domain spectroscopy, and time-resolved photoemission microscopy. My current research interests include studying the charge transfer dynamics in organic-2D heterojunctions; ultrastrong coupling between surface plasmons and excitons in 2D semiconductors; and exploring the photocarrier dynamics in solution-processed lead halide perovskite thin-films.

Outside of research, I also have a passion for science education and science communication. I have been actively involved in designing lectures and classes teaching young students and the general public about various topics in the physical sciences.
