ポーター マシュー

I began teaching English to nursing students at Fukuoka Jo Gakuin Nursing University in 2015. The following year, I co-founded the Japan Association for Nursing English Teaching (JANET) with Professor Simon Capper of the Japan Red Cross Hiroshima College of Nursing. I am passionate about improving the quality of English education for nursing students in Japan so they can better provide culturally sensitive care for non-Japanese patients. I hope to connect with other language educators, nursing educators, and medical professionals who share this goal.
