Tomoyuki Yasuda is a professor at Hosei University (Faculty of Lifelong Learning and Career Studies), Tokyo, Japan. He received his Ph.D. in educational psychology from the Pennsylvania State University and M.A. in educational research and psychology from University of Missouri -- Kansas City. His research interests include program evaluation, applied measurement and psychometrics, and community psychology. His current research focuses on the research and practice of evaluation capacity building, empowering individuals and communities through life-designing programs, and cross-cultural issues in community psychology. He has authored or co-authored two books and several book chapters on program evaluation (in Japanese) and journal articles on evaluation, applied measurement, and community-based research.
