© OSA 2017. We demonstrate the hybrid silicon and electro-optic (EO) polymer modulator. The halfwave voltage is 0.9 V at 1550 nm, and frequency response of 40 GHz. The modulator showed excellent temperature stability at 105°C for 2000 hours.
