Professor Takashi Inoguchi, Ph.D. from MIT, is Emeritus Professor, University of Tokyo, former UN Assistant Secretary-General, former President, the University of Niigata Prefecture, currently Eminent Scholar-Professor at J. F. Oberlin University (Tokyo). He writes prolifically on Japan, Asia's quality of life and international affairs.
